00 / How we work

From idea to shipped app — a clear process, no surprises.

DEIO partners with you end to end — design, build, and launch — so a product moves from first sketch to App Store, Play Store, or web without handoff gaps along the way.

0106 / Process

Six stages,
one team across all of them.

Each stage flows into the next. You'll work with the same people from first conversation through launch and beyond — nothing lost in handoffs.

01

Discovery

Understand

We start by understanding the idea — the goals, the people who'll use it, the constraints, and what success looks like. We agree on scope before any design or code work begins.

  • Goals, users, and core scope
  • Platform & tech direction
  • Timeline and milestones
  • What's in & what's out
02

Design

Shape

Wireframes, UI, and a clickable prototype that lets you feel the product before a line of production code is written. We pressure-test flows here, not after launch.

  • Wireframes & user flows
  • UI/UX and visual direction
  • Clickable prototype
  • Design system & tokens
03

Build

Develop

We develop the mobile and/or web app in focused iterations. You see working software early and often — not a black box that opens only at the end.

  • Native or cross-platform mobile
  • Web applications & dashboards
  • APIs, databases, and infra
  • Iterative previews along the way
04

Test & Refine

Polish

QA, feedback rounds, and the polish pass that turns a "working" app into one that feels good. We test across real devices and tighten the rough edges before anyone else sees them.

  • QA across real devices
  • Feedback rounds with you
  • Performance & accessibility
  • The detail pass
05

Launch

Ship

App Store and Play Store submission, web deployment, and the small things around launch — assets, listings, release notes — handled with you, not on your behalf without warning.

  • App Store & Play Store submission
  • Web deployment & environments
  • Listings, assets & release notes
  • Launch-day support
06

Maintenance & Support

Sustain

Once it's live, we stay with the product — monitoring, updates for new OS versions, and ongoing iteration as you learn from real users. Apps are never really "done."

  • Monitoring & uptime
  • OS & dependency updates
  • Ongoing iteration
  • Support & bug fixes
07 / What to expect

How working with us actually feels.

A few things we hold ourselves to throughout the process.

Clear scope and pricing

You'll know what's being built, what it costs, and what's in or out — before we start. Surprises are bad; this isn't where we want them.

Regular, real updates

Working previews you can tap through — not status decks. You'll always know where the product is and what's next.

One team, start to finish

Design, mobile, web, and backend handled by the same small group — so context doesn't get lost between phases.

Design-led, end to end

We care how an app looks, sounds, and feels — not just whether the code runs. Polish isn't a phase at the end; it runs through everything.

Modern, maintainable code

Built on current frameworks with clean structure — so your product is easy to grow, hand off, or take in-house later.

We stay after launch

Apps need care after shipping. We're around for updates, OS changes, and the iteration that comes from real users using it.

08 / Cadence

A simple weekly rhythm.

The way we keep things visible and moving — without drowning anyone in meetings.

What you'll get from us

Through every stage, week to week.

A working previewWhatever shipped that week — design, prototype, or build — in a link you can open.
A short noteWhat changed, what's next, and what we need from you — in plain language, not status-speak.
One sync per week30–45 minutes to demo, decide, and unblock — recorded if you can't make it.
Honest tradeoffsWhen something costs more than it's worth, we say so — and offer an alternative.

What helps us most

The small things that keep momentum high.

Quick decisionsFeedback within a day or two on previews keeps things from stalling.
One point of contactA single person on your side who can answer questions and call decisions.
Real content where possibleNames, photos, copy — real data makes design and testing far stronger than lorem.
The "why" behind feedback"Change this" + the reason gets us to the right answer faster than the change alone.
09 / Common asks

Things people usually want to know.

How long does a project usually take?
It depends on scope — but we always agree on a timeline during Discovery, broken into milestones so you can see progress against it. We'd rather quote honestly than aggressively, and adjust together if scope shifts.
Do you work fixed-price or by retainer?
Both. Fixed-scope projects are typical for new builds; ongoing retainers fit when there's a roadmap of features after launch. We'll suggest the structure that fits the work, not the other way around.
Who owns the code and the designs?
You do. On project close everything — repo, designs, assets, docs — transfers to you. We can keep maintaining it, or hand it off cleanly if you go in-house.
Can you join a project that's already in progress?
Yes — we'll start with a shorter Discovery to understand the current state, what's working, and what needs picking up. Then we propose how to plug in without breaking what's there.
You're in the Philippines — how do you work with remote clients?
We work remotely with clients in different time zones. The weekly sync gets scheduled for overlap, async updates handle the rest, and decisions don't have to wait for a meeting to be made.
Let's begin

Have an idea? Let's shape it together.

Tell us what you're thinking — a sentence is enough to start. We'll come back with questions, not a quote.
